What types of wine should I serve with this dinner?
I’m preparing dinner this weekend and would like to try to pair each course with wine (if possible). If needs be (or if one wine can span a few courses), that’s fine. Here’s the menu:
Appetizer: a basic artichoke/spinach dip
Main course: rosemary roasted chicken with new potato & green bean salad
Dessert: chocolate truffles (some chocolate, some lemon, some orange)
Any help would be greatly appreciated – thanks!
Appetizer, I would pair it with a Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
Main Course, You could still use the Sauvignon Blanc if you wanted or you could try a Pinot Grigio
Dessert: Champagne or Sparkling Wine
Also late harvest Zinfandel is really good with Chocolates
The Champagne or Sparkling wine can work with the Appetizer as well as the Dessert
The Sauvignon Blanc can go with the App, and the Main
If you have any questions, or want specific brand I can help you out with that.
