How do I get wine from old grape juice?
-I have a bottle of grape juice that is about 11-months-old
-It’s been sitting in a dark closet at about room temperature
-I can tell from feeling and seeing the metal cap that there is much more pressure inside than before.
-The juice/wine is dark
______________________________________________________
-Is it safe or tasty to drink? If not, what should I do?
-Any other advice?
Thanks for any responses
Sip just a bit at first. If the right yeast got in there, you might have half-decent wine. You could also have bad wine (Yeah, I know, you don’t care) or you could have a bacterial “soup” that will have you running to the toilet every 5 minutes for a day or two.
