What’s the gel-like substance at the bottom of my wine glass?
While dining out at an Italian restaurant, my friends and I shared a bottle of red wine (recommended by the owner) After finishing her glass, my friend found a gel-like red substance in her glass (looked like grape jelly). I’ve seen sediment before – tiny particles – but this looked different. What is it? Thanks.
Slobber.
Sonds like it was a fermented grape.
