How much for the cheapest wine in Australian Dollars (AUD) in a supermarket or local shop in Australia?
In which town do you live? Is it red or white or both? Is it local or foreign wine?

To give you an idea, I live in Brussels in Belgium and the cheapest wine I can find here is a box of 3 liters of red or white Spanish wine for 6 Euro = 10-11 Australian Dollar.
I get clean-skins….reds and whites…for 3.99 a bottle at my local Liquorland. There is also a first choice liquor that does clean skins for between 3.99….9.99 They have a Chilean Cab Merlot for $5.99 which is one if the smoothest wines i have ever tasted..
I live in Newcastle NSW.
The Reds at 3.99 are a lovely South Australian Shiraz Cabernet…and a Victoriam Cabernet Merlot. Both are fine….perhaps not top shelf, but far superior to a lot of the labeled wines at three and four times the price.They come from James Busby Cellars on Tooronga Vic…and they just don’t handle bad wine.
Always go for the clean-skins of you want good value for money.
